Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer at One Logis in Singapore. You will work with our General Manager directly on software that matter to our customers. You will have the opportunity to influence and lead mission critical projects early in your career. Your raw smarts will contribute to solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the areas of order management, enterprise resource management, accounting, data systems, automation, and security – with focus on applications in the logistics industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development: Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of the software.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and ensure code quality.
- Operations: Manage deployment and ensure smooth operation of the software in production.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, document, and fix bugs.
- Support: Provide technical support to customers, address their inquiries, and resolve issues as they arise.
Current Software Systems
- Freight Management System - act as lead engineer to refactor legacy system to web-based SaaS application on Microsoft Azure platform while providing technical support on Power Builder.
- Transport Management System - provide technical and database support for key integrations on the existing system built on PHP and MS SQL.
