Description
SAIC is seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer located in Huntsville, AL to support the Theater Operational Planning-Toolkit (TOP-T) to develop and maintain software.
The Theater Operational Planning-Toolkit (TOP-T) is a Joint Integrated Fires/Operational Planning and Theater visualization tool used in Multi-Domain Operations. TOP-T is a Government-owned system used to develop, optimize, synchronize, and visualize strike packages with standoff munitions in a highly contested Electronic Warfare (EW) environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and maintain software
• Collaborate with developers, testers, product assurance, and system engineers
• Support the TOP-T software architecture development team, by writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to government coding standards
  Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors and two (2)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Experience in software development using JavaScript
• Knowledge of software/system development life cycles
• Experience using the Node.js runtime environment for developing server-side web applications and possess basic understanding of the V8 JavaScript engine
• Possess knowledge of networking hardware and software over classified and unclassified government networks
• Ability to brief, present, demonstrate, and communicate with members of the armed forces, government and civilian officials, and all/any stakeholders of the software product

DESIRED SKILLS

• Web Stack, DEVSECOPS, Cloud, Cesium, automated testing, containers
• GitLab experience
• Creating builds/releases using GitLab or other CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Git and CMD
• Design/architect enterprising software
• Understanding of mission planning systems including Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS)
