Global medical device company, based in Limerick, Ireland – looking for Software Engineer – Senior.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

The Job:

• Designing and developing HMI and SCADA systems according to project requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Configuring and programming HMI and SCADA software.
• Integrating HMI and SCADA systems with other control systems and ensuring seamless data exchange.
• Conducting system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues.
• Creating and maintaining HMI and SCADA system documentation.
• Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in HMI and SCADA technologies.

Have You:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining HMI and SCADA systems.
• Strong knowledge of HMI and SCADA software, such as Aveva InTouch standalone as well as System Platform (previously Wonderware) and Factory Talk View.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in HMI SCADA systems, such as C#, Java, or VBScript and SQL knowledge.
• Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Server operating Systems.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, Suitelink) and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and techniques for securing SCADA systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Candidates must have valid working VISA in Ireland or European Passport.
