Elavon is seeking the position of Software Engineer in Minneapolis, MN.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science. The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience in a software engineer, software developer, or closely related occupation.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

The qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science. The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience in a software engineer, software developer, or closely related occupation. The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience in each of the following: Analyzing application requirements; Designing, evaluating, coding, configuring, testing applications using Java; Deploying, upgrading, and maintaining integrated system design; Using automation of builds and continuous integration to deploy applications; Continuous Integration(CI)/Continuous Deployment(CD) using DevOps tools and workflows; and Working with: Spring Boot, Oracle Database, Json, Microsoft Azure Cloud, NodeJS, Jenkins, Maven, and Kubernetes.
Telecommuting available anywhere in US. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $135,200.00 - $150,500.00.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Software Engineer position is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The Software Engineer takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to Elavon standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. Responsibilities include: Workflow assessments of GEMS (Global Exception Management System); Designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products; Requirement gathering; Taking full stack ownership of code by writing production-ready and testable code; Supporting quality assurance; Creating designs while adhering to architectural best practices; Defining technical designs considering scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected; Conducting code reviews including using feedback to apply changes and providing guidance; Ensuring all production development follows compliance and security best practices
