Position: Software Engineer (Contract – 12 months)
Location: Woodlands
Working Hour: Mon to Fri, 8am to 530pm

JOB SUMMARY:

• As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, configure, test and maintain Company IT systems. You will interface with customers across departments and sites to design, document, modify, and support software throughout the Software development life cycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with some background knowledge and Passion for Software development OR Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Related field of study.
• Developing applications to support manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and engineering analysis
• Good flair for software programming
• Database development and design with MS-SQL
• Windows programming in C#
• Scripting experience in Perl
• Markup languages: XML, HTML, XSL. Strong XML knowledge is preferred.
• Understanding of middleware and messaging concepts
• Machine Communication: SECS/GEM, Serial, OPC.
• End user GUI design.
• Agile methodologies.

• Meet with customers (with Assigned mentor during starting) and establish customer requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation that facilitates requirements discussions (block /process diagrams, As Is vs. To Be flows/diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc.)
• Align to team best practices and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Do system integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
