Description:

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic developer with a strong technical background, who is eager to see their code applied to real-world problems in health care. You should know how to work as part of a self-organizing team and how to collaborate with others. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in Full Stack development, from basic requirements, through deployment and ultimately implementation. Please only apply to this role if you are able to work full time starting right away.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 year experience with Java or another object-oriented language
  • Practical work experience developing web applications, backed with a relational database (Internships acceptable)
  • Experience with at least one Javascript framework, such as: Angular, Ember, or Backbone.js (Backbone.js is preferred) would be a plus!

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field

Responsibilities:

  • Write robust, maintainable code to fix bugs and build features.
  • Write unit, integration and application tests to cover your code.
  • Develop and follow coding conventions, architecture and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other developers, product owners, QA engineers, and other stakeholders across all teams working on our software.
  • Configure installations of our products to meet client requirements.
  • Determine the best method of integration with new clients or partners systems.
  • Translate operational requirements from clients into appropriate configuration and customization steps.
  • Coordinate upgrades of existing implementations to newer versions of the Patient Solutions platform.
