We are currently recruiting a Software Engineer to join the NAP Acquiring team (New Acquiring Platform) at Worldpay. This position is London based and aligned to the Worldpay University Program; a two-year scheme, suited to entry level joiners who aspire to develop a successful career with a leading payment company!

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject (preferably Computer Science / Mathematics)
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration/ Continuous Development principles (CI/ CD)
  • Knowledge of a wide range of AWS services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple requests from multiple sources
  • Some coding knowledge, ideally Scripting, Python and/or a NoSQL database language MongoDB
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, written in the Jenkins Pipeline Domain Specific Language (DSL)
  • Supporting development teams in their journey to Cloud by developing Terraform modules and GitHub Actions
  • Planning and performing regular upgrades to the DevOps tool stack: Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, MongoDB
  • Performing code reviews within the team and advocating best practices
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and policy of the internal Worldpay security teams.
  • Attending quarterly Program Increment Planning meetings with product teams to gather DevOps requirements
