POSITION SUMMARY

Individual will contribute as a software engineer on an Agile Scrum team. Will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, cost-effective, and timely solutions in the fast-paced global financial services industry. The solutions are a comprehensive set of interactive financial products and services. This individual must be a great team player, highly motivated and a self-starter who enjoys innovating and constantly improving the products.
Will work closely with other software engineers, architects, analysts, scrum masters and product owners in small Scrum teams and will help evolve the agile process. Will ensure products are scalable and supportable and adhere to standard specifications.
Primary technology stack: Java

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 1 year of experience in software design and development using Java would be advantageous but not essential.
• Working knowledge in Scrum Agile development environment
• Ability to develop, and maintain software code and systems
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Experience with continuous improvement processes and principles
• Experience developing technical documentation
• Experience performing software testing
• Experience doing software code reviews
• Stays current with technology
• Experience collaborating with other teams
• Takes initiative and is a self-starter
• Ability to challenge status quo and drive process improvement
• Ability to think, evaluate, and solve complex technical problems
• Ability to provide input to requirements analysis
