ABOUT THE UNIT

Yara is the world’s leading crop nutrition company and a provider of environmental and agricultural solutions. Our mission is to responsibly feed the world and protect the planet.
To achieve our ambitions, it is crucial that we leverage digital technologies and data-driven approaches. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Digital Sustainability & Traceability unit and help us create a sustainable future through digital innovation.
Yara pledged to operate a network of GHG emission-free production plants by 2050 and to source low-to-zero emissions raw materials. DST (Digital Sustainability & Traceability) helps deliver digital solutions aligned with Yara´s strategic goals to reduce GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3.
For example, DST developed Carbon Connect solution which supports Carbon Footprint Management. The roll-out of carbon footprint calculations and verification statements for Yara fertiliser products have helped our customers claim that they are using fertilizers with lower GHG emissions.
DST also developed Carbon Watch solution which supports Yara Ammonia Transfer System. A virtual ammonia exchange mechanism is employed to transfer ammonia from production plants to consumers. Customers can purchase clean ammonia-based products globally using this mechanism.

KNOWLEDGE GROWS THROUGH DIFFERENCES

Yara is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We believe that creating a diverse and inclusive work environment is not only the right thing, but also the smart thing to do. To deliver on this, Yara has firmly anchored Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) in our business strategy and has more than 400 employees worldwide involved in D&I ambassadors networks.
