We are currently seeking a Software Escalation Developer to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, Ontario.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Qualifications Required:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong Troubleshooting skills
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. C# is preferred but Java, C++, or other languages are also acceptable.
• Proficiency with SQL & knowledge of databases
• Knowledge of Flyway, Powershell, Azure Devops, JavaScript is an asset
• The ability to perform night/weekend wor

• Perform Level 3 technical support for our airport and airline customers by troubleshooting a wide range of issues that are affecting the operation of their Baggage Handling Systems
• Assist Level 2 service technicians by providing in-depth troubleshooting & technical support
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis of defects identified in production.
• Fix, test, and deploy software patches
• Maintain, develop, and improve our automated test and deployment tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and recommend improvements to products and internal processes
