Job Summary:
Taranto Systems has more than 50 employees across the UK, working in a personable and collaborative way with our clients, who also benefit from the security and resources that comes with being part of a global parent company.
We have supported the enforcement market for over 15 years and are an authorised DVLA Bureau. With award-winning services, we have become a market leader in the provision of parking processing systems, congestion charging, road tolling, and low emission zone enforcement systems and services.
We are members of the British Parking Association (BPA) and the International Parking Community (IPC); these memberships enable us to stay up to date with all parking news and sector market trends.
Job Description:
The role will be part of the technical project team and will be reporting to the Technical Manager.
This is a hybrid position with regular visits to our Liverpool office.

A typical week would include:

  • Supporting client user acceptance testing and closing out any outstanding issues.
  • Supporting members of the technical project team.
  • Deploying, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting our software and associated hardware in a client-facing environment – sometimes at various client sites around the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands.
  • Working with other technical teams including external third parties.
  • Supporting the project managers in delivering the technical aspects of the project plan.
  • Monitoring newly implemented software solutions.
  • Upgrading our existing clients software, databases & mobile devices.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of deploying, configuring, troubleshooting IIS presented web-based software and mobile hardware in a busy project environment.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and, when a project requires it, during unsociable hours.
  • Experience in SQL, although this not essential if you are technically minded and a fast learner.
  • Experience of working in a parking, traffic and/or road user charging enforcement environment, although this is not essential.
  • Experience with software delivered via App Services in Microsoft Azure, although this is not essential.

In return we will offer a competitive salary of £25k-30k (DOE) along with a comprehensive benefits package including a discretionary bonus, private pension scheme, life assurance and income protection, a great holiday package including a buy and sell scheme, as well as many initiatives to support a healthy lifestyle.
