Description:

Job Purpose:
The Software Licensing Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the software subscription and EA agreements lifecycle for vendor products. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth delivery, presales support, activation, and renewal of software subscriptions and EA agreements. The Software Licensing Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, resolving any subscription-related issues, and driving customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage software subscription & EA agreements lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end process of software subscriptions, and EA Agreements, including presales, provisioning, activation, and renewal.
  • Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for all subscription-related matters.
  • Subscription coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, technical support, and finance, to coordinate the delivery, activation, and billing of software subscriptions.
  • Renewal management: Proactively monitor and track subscription and EA renewals, ensuring timely and accurate renewal processes.
  • Issue resolution: Address any customer inquiries or concerns related to software subscriptions and EA Agreements, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Customer satisfaction: Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the software subscription lifecycle.
  • Reporting and analysis: Generate reports and analyze subscription-related data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of growth.

EDUCATION:

Four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Previous experience in software subscription management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and subscription-based business models.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of vendor products and solutions is a plus.
