Background:
RCSI is seeking to recruit a candidate to work as a software programmer to contribute to two new programmes in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular sciences.
- MSc in Technologies and Analytics in Precision Medicine
- BSc programme in Advanced Therapeutic Technologies
These programmes focus on next generation therapeutic technologies and precision medicine and include a significant focus on computational biology, bioinformatics and data analytics. They also include an introduction of AI/machine learning and digital and connected healthcare.
These programmes have been funded by a €7.8M HEA project entitled ‘Enabling Future Pharma: beyond the pill’ through the Human Capital Initiative (HCI) Pillar 3 Innovation & Agility programme.
The objectives of this post are to:
- Contribute to and participate in the design, development and delivery of the School’s educational programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including, but not limited to, the MSc Technologies and Analytics in Precision Medicine and the BSc Advanced Therapeutic Technologies.
- Provide a wide range of skills including, but not limited to, software development, statistics, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
- Participating in the delivery of our teaching and learning strategy including the effective use of technology-enhanced learning
