The role of SW Solutions Project Manager II is pivotal, focusing on leading customer engagements to meet set business objectives effectively.
We are seeking a technically astute individual who possesses an understanding of Active Directory and Information Security principles. This role requires someone who can navigate complex technical discussions, offer strategic advice, and guide technical decisions without directly engaging in hands-on work. The ideal candidate should be able to translate technical jargon into accessible language, facilitating effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. A strong foundation in technology, coupled with the ability to think critically about technical strategies and solutions, is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Success in this role requires a commanding leadership presence and effective leadership skills.
  • Must possess the skill to forge unified project teams, ensuring clear communication and defined accountability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of project management experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse project teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication. Clear and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for interacting with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
  • Strong discipline and consistency in following Quest’s project management methodology
  • Capacity to identify issues quickly, analyze them, and implement effective solutions. Risk management skills are essential for anticipating and mitigating project risks.
  • Experience in dealing with clients, understanding their requirements, and maintaining strong client relationships. Ability to negotiate project scopes, timelines, and budgets with clients.
  • Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Professional Services Automation tools), collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams), and other related software that aids in project planning, execution, and tracking.
  • Must speak English

  • Lead Professional Services initiatives, ensuring successful execution within project scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards, while delivering excellent customer and team experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team and other cross-functional groups to ensure the seamless completion of Professional Services projects.
  • Foster clear communication and high accountability among project team members, aiming for both customer and project success.
  • Keep project documentation up-to-date and ensure timely communication with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor consultant daily updates and provide weekly project status reports to customers.
  • Clearly understand and adhere to customer contracts and expectations to enhance project success and accountability.
  • Engage in various project stages, including risk and issue management, system architecture, hardware/software specification and design, implementation, testing, customer training, and deployment, to effectively manage project scope.
  • Potentially interact directly with external customers for projects requiring travel or on-site involvement.
  • Meet or exceed consulting chargeability and utilization goals.
  • Apply industry-standard Project Management methodologies, such as PMI, alongside Quest-specific approaches, to project management tasks.
