We are looking for a talented Software Test Engineer with expertise in end-to-end testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing comprehensive test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of our software products. How you spend your day with us:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers to understand software requirements and design test strategies accordingly
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of end-to-end test cases to cover all aspects of the software application
- Execute test cases and perform thorough defect tracking and reporting.
- Continuously monitor and enhance test coverage, test efficiency, and test effectiveness
- Identify and reproduce software defects, work closely with the development team to ensure proper resolution and validate fixes
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium or similar tools to streamline the testing process
- Collaborate with the team to improve testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
What you bring in:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Software Test Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on end-to-end testing (ideally in an SaaS environment)
- Proficient in developing and executing test cases, and documenting test results
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, X-Ray).
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and experience with Playwright or Selenium and familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Typescript, C#) would be a plus!
- You are fluent in English (German skills are an advantage)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
