ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Set-up and configuration of test benches
• Support the team in selecting suitable test methods and test tools for the entire life cycle
• Develop and execute tests along the entire test pyramid (automated tests as well as manual testing)
• Further development of test frameworks for automated tests
• Creation of software quality reports (defetcs, test coverage, test case documentation)
• Continuous learning in the course of the agile process (retrospectives, reviews) with focus on SW Quality
• Active support in establishing agile testing in interdisciplinary and international Scrum teams

ROLE REQUIREMENTS;

• Bachelor or Master in software development or computer science or successfully completed education as a computer scientist with emphasis on system integration or application development
• Experience in functional and non-functional software testing within a professional software development environment
• Knowledge of modern scripting languages (e.g. Python or Powershell) and are familiar with developer tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins and Docker.
• Experience in the area of testing/test automation and the tools typically used there, such as Python or Selenium
• Ideally experience with common test management tools and continuous integration systems
• Good programming skills with scripting languages (Phyton, JavaScript)
• A degree as tester on ISTQB level (or comparable) is desirable.
• Several years of experience in an agile environment and working with developers and product owners in the role of agile tester
• Have a love of learning and you are seeking to increase your technical expertise
• Fluent in English and German.
