Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Software Tester with Automation experience to join our collaborative and dynamic team working on Seequent Evo. (To find out a bit more about Seequent Evo check out our website https://www.seequent.com/company/seequent-evo)
In this role, you will work together with Product Managers, Designers and Developers to define new features, streamline our processes and automation to improve product quality, and help drive feature development to completion. You will play a valued part in the delivery of our impactful world class geoscience solutions and will drive the growth of our automated test and deployment pipelines.

Please note, this a hybrid position to be based out of the Christchurch office.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Extend and improve our existing automation enabling continuous delivery
  • Constructively identify problems and advocate for quality within the team.
  • Assist in ensuring that testability is part of new features

IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Experience in automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of test techniques and approaches
  • A great eye for detail
  • A drive to improve all the things and a keen interest in technology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a ‘team-first’ mentality
