Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Software Testing and Support Engineer (formerly called IT & Data Support Engineer to be in involved in our Digital Operations department. You will work closely with our Operational team and R&D to help deliver our Danfoss Food Retail Cloud services to our customers.
You would be a perfect match in this role if your background is in Operations with strong experience in Software Development and support of SaaS.
All of which accrued in structured multinational company or in the IT consulting field.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

  • Educational Background in IT field, equivalent area.
  • Strong experience gained in medium structured companies or in IT Consultancy organizations.
  • Good experience with remote analysis of incidents
  • Good experience with Linux Servers
  • Experience with: Azure Cloud, Kubernetes and Grafana.
  • Experience with managing of SQL Databases
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian Languages (written and spoken)

Responsibilities:

The IT & Data Support Engineer will join in a motivated international team, and he/she will be responsible of the Support and Analysis of incidents and customer requests related to SaaS and IoT systems developed by Danfoss.

Some of the job responsibilities on a day-to-day basis include:

  • Support customers and colleagues with SaaS platform issues.
  • Analysis of incidents with the capacity to investigate and resolve.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot IT incidents with a focus on the back end of the cloud infrastructure.
  • Customize and configure software for new customer onboarding.
  • Be available on a rotating on call basis for emergencies.
  • Scripting and automation of processes to be used in solving incidents and improvement of daily flows.
  • Work with the Development Team and have a clear overview of items being developed and bug fixing status.
  • Aid software developers on identifying deliverables from operations team from a technical perspective.
  • Participating in testing our software solutions using appropriate methods.
