Our client is one of Australia’s largest national law firms with a strong banking and financial services group nationally.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Sydney office of this national law firm is looking for a mid level lawyer to join their Banking & Financial Services group and focus on:
- Structured property finance
- Venture debt
- Joint ventures
- Structured finance deals
- Renewable energy financings (project finance for solar farms)
The work is mainly lender side however there is also some borrower side work from time to time.
This role will see you working across a key partner in the group as well as gaining exposure to the wider team that include five other partners.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have between 3-5 years experience from another reputable banking and finance practice.
In addition you will have:
- Strong academic credentials;
- Strategic and critical thinking capabilities;
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written;
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships; and
- Ability to mentor and support juniors in the team.
