Description:
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- NZ Law Practicing Certificate.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage own files.
- Flexibility and willingness to mentor junior team members when required.
Responsibilities:
- General Practice Experience: Preferably 3+ years PQE in general practice.
- Relationship Property Work: While not essential, particular experience in relationship property work, including drafting and negotiation of contracting out and separation agreements, would be beneficial.
- Diverse Legal Expertise: Proficiency in the following New Zealand general practice areas is ideal:
- Wills, Trusts, and Enduring Powers of Attorney
- Complex residential and commercial conveyancing, and subdivision processes
- Commercial leasing
- General commercial experience, including the sale and purchase of businesses, preparation of shareholder agreements, and general commercial contract review and advice
