Solicitor / Senior Associate - Commercial

Located in the heart of Sydney, across from GPO Building on Martin Place, This is a commercial law firm and specialise in both front and back matters. They have particular expertise in property and agribusiness which also includes viticulture.
A high-quality client portfolio includes large property developers, auctioneers in agri, one of the largest wine exporters in Australia, natural resource businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
Their clients tend to be legacy - with very long-standing relationships, the team rarely has to business develop due to this and the Partners’ reputations in these networks. They sometimes require their personal matters to be managed due to these long-standing relationships and the trust that has been built. They require excellence and are treated with the utmost level of professionalism and quality of service from their visiting the offices to the completion of matters.
As part of this small, close-knit team of 25 staff, with 4-6 years PAE you will work with one of the partners on a range of front-end matters, from business buy and sell, through to contract review and offering general advice.
You’ll also draft a range of documents and liaise with your clients directly. You will also get support from a number of well-trained paralegals and support staff so you can focus on producing quality work.
It is a very social team and they work very closely together, the Partners reward staff for their hard work, as an example every Monday there is a lunch team meeting and this is catered for by the firm. Recently the team had to work quite long hours due to a transaction, once it had successfully completed the Partners took the whole team to a very high profile restaurant for the day to say “thank you”.
