Description:

SOLUTION ARCHITECT

On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Solution Architect a six (6) month engagement based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This client is pleased to offer a remote work model for this position.

Solution Architect Job Details

  • A Solution Architect with project management skills is required to define, and lead the implementation of, identified technology related improvements to health system intelligence solutions (clinical registries).
  • Recommendations include changes to existing and planned platforms, interfaces, data access workflows, data storage solutions, and stabilizing current solutions.
  • Review, refine and prioritize recommendations for technology changes to advance functionality of clinical registries.
  • Develop Implementation Plan including consultation with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Platform for Analytics and Data (PANDA) team and Provincial Health Digital Information Services (PDHIS) team to ensure alignment between proposed technical solutions and overall strategy and workplan of PDHIS and PANDA
  • Manage the execution of the Implementation Plan for technology changes including:
  • develop and document solution architecture
  • assess business impact of proposed technical solutions
  • project planning and execution oversight
  • resource identification
  • stakeholder engagement
  • scope/change management
  • issue management
  • provide guidance and support to teams engaged in implementation of technical solutions

Solution Architect Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years experience in enterprise/solution architecture roles
  • 10+ years experience working within large, complex health systems at a senior level
  • Experience leading implementation of technology solutions
  • Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong English language verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts and topics in layman’s terms to non-subject matter experts and build consensus and credibility among diverse stakeholder groups
  • Able to work expeditiously as an individual contributor and as a team member

Solution Architect Nice-To-Have Skills

  • Experience working within a British Columbian Health Authority
  • Familiarity with PHSA clinical registries is an asset
