Solution Architect

Electricity North West is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Digital and Technology directorate.
An ambitious professional with strong people skills and a passion for architecture, you’ll set direction, provide architecture leadership on change initiatives and deliver the company’s digitalisation strategy.

OUR ROLE

As the Solution Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of agreed business areas, focussed on users of Work and Asset Management systems, in terms of strategic direction and the investment portfolio.

Working in close collaboration with the other architects and Head of Enterprise Architecture and Strategy this role will be jointly:

• Responsible for the enterprise architecture function including, governance processes as well as developing and maintaining enterprise architecture deliverables;
• Responsible for ensuring new solutions are secure, viable and aligned to the Electricity North West Enterprise Architecture and Digitalisation Strategy;
• Responsible for the solution architecture function for Electricity North West including partnering with analysts, engineers and third parties to design and assure enterprise level solutions across operational (real time network) systems and non-operational (corporate) systems;
• Responsible for developing and owning Electricity North West’s processes, policies and standards as they relate to enterprise architecture and design.

THIS ROLE OFFERS HYBRID WORKING, THE EXPECTATION IS A MINIMUM OF 2 DAYS PER WEEK IN AN ENWL OFFICE.
