Role: Solution Architect - Software Developer
Work location: Fredericton, NB / Remote Canada

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect scalable and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop frontend components using Angular and React frameworks to create intuitive user interfaces.
  • Build robust backend services using Node.js and Python to handle data processing and business logic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
  • Utilize Git for version control and manage code repositories effectively.
  • Leverage GCP services to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in a cloud environment.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular, React, Node.js, and Python.
  • Solid understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Other Qualifications:

  • Certification in relevant technologies or platforms.
  • Experience with other frontend and backend frameworks such as Vue.js, Express.js, Django, or Flask.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
