POSITION SUMMARY

“Solution architects are experts with many years of experience in a wide range of industries, IT fields, and specialist fields. They develop strategies that point the way ahead as well as holistic architecture concepts. In particular, solutions architects advise the customer’s decision makers and management.
Experience: more than seven years
This person must have excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to interact with SAP functional and technical Staff, Customers and partners. He/ she aligns with a Industry vertical and focuses on new initiatives and leads them in terms of gaining mastery of the new areas, creates opportunities with the customer, deploys and develops additional consulting resources in the identified new opportunities.
The Solution Architect plays a key role on the project team responsible for both functional and process based integration across the solution. They are seen as Key Domain Experts and are the pinnacle of our PS Team.
Coaching other team members and possibility to support necessary business development efforts (pre-sales, proposal writing etc.). Strong sales support for maximised consulting revenue growth. Effective delivery attitude to ensure a profitable project delivery.
Experience: more than eight years”

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor university degree, Masters university degree or equivalent Work Experience in HR Domain

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • min. 8 - 10 years of technology implementation experience including seven or more years direct hands-on experience in multiple full lifecycles, complex data and reporting experience.
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor to C-level executives due to thought leadership
  • Lead the creation of a deployment strategy within a region or vertical
  • Contribute to Zalaris’ approach, methodologies and ambitions and drive the use of knowledge management within own area
  • Contribute to Zalaris’ differentiation messages
  • Ensure process compliance in own areas
  • Ensure Guiding Principles are fully applied at a vertical or regional level, providing clear direction, management and compliance at all levels
  • Play an active role in Community planning and events
  • Manage multiple small bids and make a major contribution to large ones
  • Actively drive IP creation and improve Zalaris’ methodologies and approaches to a specific client situation
  • Be seen as a thought leader by a client in a new win
  • Be internally recognised as the global expert (and externally recognised as an expert) in a specific area of the solution or multiple core business processes, and associated functions, for one or a limited number of industry micro-verticals and able to comprehensively apply that expertise across all applicable industry verticals. Externally recognized as an expert in a specific area of the solution.
  • Able to rapidly pick up new technologies or value propositions relevant across Zalaris lines of business and effectively map them to the requirements of our existing and prospective clients.
  • Be a embodiment of Guiding Principles and considered a role model by all consultants within a region. Command the respect and confidence of their peers and senior colleagues not only in the solution team but across all Zalaris lines of business.
  • Able to differentiate between, attract, and sell candidates on a career with Zalaris across multiple areas of solution expertise up to Principal Consultant level. Should participate in SA level recruitment.
  • Mange and oversee the recruitment, remuneration, development and retention of no less than 7 team members in alignment with commercial strategy and objectives. Contribute to and develop management processes aligned to solution team strategy.
  • Develop and deliver proposal and presentation content as well as marketing materials across multiple areas of expertise, within or across verticals, that is consistently leveraged across multiple pre-sales opportunities within a region. Write and have published ‘white papers’ or ‘articles’, or speak/present at external events or conferences, in multiple areas of expertise.
  • Able to own, plan, and deliver an entire proposal response with specific reference to a client’s requirements and/or industry, including the ‘Executive Summary’, for an opportunity in excess of $1m. Capable of doing this for proposals that span Zalaris lines of business across a region. Able to oversee a portfolio of proposals and business development opportunities, ensuring the quality of their delivery through the mobilization and motivation of appropriate bid teams.
  • Able to estimate the effort required to deliver the entire scope of a project and propose an optimized resource plan for opportunities in excess of $1m across Zalaris lines of business. Able to develop and present innovative implementation strategies including consideration of a client’s budget, cash-flow and time to benefit.
