As our Solution Consultant you’ll be proactively partnering with the Sales team to:
1) Identify a strategic approach to add value with our solutions to prospect businesses
2) Provide functional and business needs assessments for prospects ensuring transparency of scope & requirement
3) Provide industry and solutions expertise to shorten sales cycles
You’ll inspire clients by showcasing the value that our solution drives for their business as well as ensuring prospects are prepared for the technical and business program deliverables. You’ll be a key player at the various sales stages to fully understand the problem(s) the prospect is trying to solve. This will include recommending and demonstrating the appropriate solution, building and delivering business cases, and telling the story in a compelling narrative using supporting client success examples and data.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Expedite sales cycles while being an advocate for our clients
  • Work directly with Account Directors to ensure that the correct solutions are presented to meet our clients’ needs
  • Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of Bazaarvoice SaaS offerings through continuous research and collaboration with various teams at Bazaarvoice
  • Enable your assigned Sales team by coaching them on new product features, new product offerings, and recent product deprecations
  • Present product demos, ROI models, and technical overviews
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and Security Questionnaires with speed and precision
  • Build and deliver ROI models to showcase the value of the solution we are recommending to our client

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY FOR THE ROLE:

  • 3 - 5 years in a client facing role at a software company
  • Native or C1 German language
  • Previous software presales, consulting, client facing engineering experience (preferred)
  • Curiosity
  • Possesses a well honed business acumen and a technical mind
  • Communicates effectively using exemplary written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Quickly solves complex problems in creative and repeatable ways
  • Thrives in a world where change occurs quickly and sometimes with little warning
  • Enjoys autonomy, but remains accountable to themselves, their team, and the greater organization at which they work
