JOB DESCRIPTION:

As part of Belden’s Global Technical Services (GTS) team, lead a team of solution consultants who lead and execute the technical strategy and initiatives defined with the United States Vertical Market sales teams. Starting from lead nurturing to Post Sale Support, serve as a technical consultant of Outside Sales and support United States organic growth by converting customers’ ideas and visions into customized Belden solutions enabling guaranteed business outcomes.
Drive Belden pipeline growth and success rate through developing and delivering outcome and Belden technology-based solutions to customers managed by our sales colleagues; provide the Technical Leadership influence in all assigned Key Accounts and critical and/or complex projects; work with Process Digital Automation Consultants to technically translate process diagnostic insights into compelling Solutions with demonstrable financial value impact; construct business value impact around business outcomes, and build credibility and sponsorship by using Account’s terminology and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); lead development of solutions that utilize capability of all Belden brands; collaborate with GTS Solution Support team in development and execution of proof-of-concepts (POCs), solution staging, field acceptance tests (FATs), and network audits; demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of key technology and market trends, and competitors’ solutions; provide future-based technical insights to enable project wins and customer loyalty; design and support technology campaigns such as webinars, roadshows, trade fairs; represent customer’s voice in Business Unit strategy and new product introduction processes; and provide Market Insight to Sales, Product Management and R&D to support definition of customer and vertical market propositions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or closely related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in design and implementation of automation networking solutions for Operational Technology environment.
  • Other experience/skills must include:
  • Sales and service experience within international, matrixed organization in automation or communications industry.
  • Working with cross functional and multi-regional teams, including Outside Sales, Channel Management, Marketing, and Product Development.
  • OT/IT experience, including IIOT, Automation, and Control ICS.
  • Applications insights, including Discrete, Automotive, Process and substation automation and Intelligent transportation systems.
  • Providing feedback on Industrial product lifecycle to internal product management team.
  • Translating complex, technical information into comprehensible conversation with external customers and internal support functions that may not have understanding of the technology.
  • Onboarding and coaching the work of consultants or engineers, both at peer and subordinate levels.
  • May work from home office 100% of time.
  • International travel 2-3 times per year, as well as domestic travel within the U.S. biweekly.
  • Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
