Responsibilities:
We have a Senior IT Architect role available at FIS in Sydney with responsibility for ongoing engagement and interactions with a significant banking client supporting a major, long term, strategic project. Working collaboratively with this major client you will develop a deep understanding of the FIS managed services and integrations into the client’s platforms. With this knowledge you will collaboratively work with multiple client teams to understand requirements and propose solutions.
This role will work closely with our client to:
- Understand client operations and activities to identify the client’s requirements and to promote FIS’ new and current services to assist the client to meet their organisational needs.
- Participate in management reviews, including presenting and interpreting business requirements and results of business analyses, summarizing conclusions and recommending a course of action.
- Promote solutions and designs that align with the client’s business and technical strategies
- Interface with all areas of the client and internal enterprises affected by the project including strategic planning, product management, product development, technology services and client services to ensure the client’s expectations and market requirements are met
- Work with relevant teams to produce cost estimates and provide high level estimates to the client for Architectural solutions
- Working across FIS teams to develop detailed solution designs, operational impacts and delivery estimates
- Provide a single point of contact for the client when seeking to discuss changes to solutions or services provided
- Interprets client needs, assesses the full business requirements and business architecture and identifies solutions to non-standard tasks/queries
- Acts as a intermediary/conduit between the technical teams and the clients and non-technical staff
- Ensure the client understands the capability and value of the FIS services and use this to the full extent to provide value to their organisation
- Resolve highly complex problems, may be involved in co-ordinating and guiding the work of others
- Leadership of Architectural guidelines – protecting and preserving and promoting service and architectural guardrails.
- Establish and maintain a network of stakeholders and represent FIS in client forums
- Work with FIS delivery personnel, leadership teams and functions that provide and manage the operational services for the client.
