Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Solution Sales Manager who works hard, is passionate, persistent, creative, confident, and will work well in a team. The candidate will help our clients solve their business problems with excellent communication, networking and program management skills. This is a dynamic, multi-functional position that involves elements of marketing, business development, consulting, sales, communication, and customer engagement roles. You will identify and build new client relationships, lead internal teams, develop a macro-market strategy, find opportunities to serve prospective client missions, and facilitate internal communication efforts with many internal partners.
Prefabricated Data Centers are one of the fastest growing segment of the data center industry and present a unique opportunity to solve problems beyond selling individual products. The right candidate will be able to understand and communicate the unique benefits these solutions and Schneider Electric can bring. This position will be targeted to clients located in the Asia Pacific region, responsibilities will span Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia, and India.
What will you do in this position?
- Become a subject matter expert on Schneider Electric’s Prefabricated Data Center portfolio
- Collaborate with Schneider Electric in country sales team to develop opportunities with clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with end users
- Hunt for new clients and opportunities for Prefabricated Data Centers.
- Evangelize the benefits of our solutions at industry events.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop designs and proposals for new projects.
- Anything else you need to do to win business.
Qualifications:
- A demonstrable and successful track record of leading complex solution selling relating to data
centers i.e. HVAC, IT, electrical / BMS / security / energy management.
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
- Have a passionate, entrepreneurial attitude that drives you over achieve and succeed
- Experience influencing C level clients with value proposition and business solutions
- Ability to translate business problems to technical solutions and then communicate back to internal teams for proposal development.
- Solid exposure to internal business processes within a complex commercial environment as well
as tendering and project management
- Preferred experience includes a 4-year college/university degree with an MBA as a plus and a minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience.
