Responsibilities:
The Solutions Analyst for the Business Intelligence & Data Strategies (BIDS) Department is responsible for delivering business intelligence, analytics and reporting using a variety of tools and programming disciplines. This position will assist the data integration and deployment efforts of Northside Hospital’s clinical and financial enterprise data repositories. Candidates must have excellent technical aptitude and an affinity for data and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and defines requirements for reporting and analytical needs.
- Builds and deploys efficient reporting and analytical tools.
- Trains end-users on utilization of reporting and analytical tools.
- Designs, builds and maintains dashboards and scorecards to user and scope specifications.
- Maintains mechanisms to administer manual or automated population of data tables in support of recurring reporting.
- Produces technical documentation for programming and reporting efforts.
- Generates and analyzes data to respond to routine and ad-hoc end user requests.
- Assist with special systems and analytics projects for the Finance Division.
- Identifies opportunities and recommendations for process improvement within the Finance Division, including process automation and data audits. Responsible for programming and implementation of said improvements.
