The Solutions and Business Development Manager is accountable for new business development and account management to meet target revenue growth, responsible for building and maintaining long-term profitable relationships. The responsible for driving new business growth within the Company including:

  • Sales strategy development & execution.
  • Request for Information (RFI) end to end ownership.
  • Identifying new opportunities in both existing and complementary sectors.
  • Support bid process including application, fulfilment, demos and pricing.
  • Proactive development of sales pipeline.

The lead for strategic account management to deliver and manage customer needs and expectations including:

  • Business development with existing customers, identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Gauging and supporting on customer satisfaction including execute Customer Survey biannually.
  • Develop strong dynamic with internal service function.

Responsible to obtain market and customer insights to inform product strategy, proposition development and go-to-market activity.

  • Uncovering and consistently sharing industry and sector intel to further inform business and product strategy.
  • Active engagement with product management function to inform problem or opportunity-oriented roadmap. Through account management and new business responsibilities document and provide input internally on customer trends and demands.
  • Author marketing material such as white papers sharing trends and subject matter expertise to further develop ERS’ position in the market.
  • Conference attendance, present ERS, generate leads, build relationships.

What you’ll need:

  • Post-secondary degree in applicable field coupled with 10+ years in a related field.
  • Ability to translate technical and business requirements and adjust communication approach depending on audience.
  • Strong technical and product background.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with the customer leading to a deep understanding of their products and long-term business strategies.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships to support the delivery and implementation while enhancing the customer experience across all touch points.
  • Experience showcasing products and services as a strategic fit for customers. through sales presentation development and delivery, conferences and networking events.
  • Experience selling an evolving product – understanding the value of what we have and we are building as opposed to selling what we don’t have.
  • Ability to capture and identify integrated opportunities with end-to-end solution delivery requirements.
  • Available to travel to visit clients and attend conferences.
