Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum three (3) years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience programming in different languages like Node.js, Python, Java, etc.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and working experience in CI/CD, Containerization, and Docker
  • Experience using front end JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular or similar
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs for use in production
  • Mobile App development experience (iOS and/or Android) an asset
  • Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL processes an asset
  • Understanding of cloud security an asset
  • Strong software development knowledge and experience, along with deep understanding of algorithms, data structures and design patterns
  • Excellent work ethic and strong sense of ownership of the end result
  • Entrepreneurial minded, creative problem solver and innovative thinker
  • Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product management team to understand the architecturally significant business requirements
  • Work closely with product and marketing managers, user experience designers, and software engineers to develop new product offerings and expand existing ones
  • Apply sound design principles and innovation to solve complex business problems
  • Document the architecture, both new and existing as-built
  • Other duties as required
