Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Post secondary education in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years experience within the technology field, with demonstrated proficiency as a thought leader.
- Experience with electronic information exchange, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Solid understanding of a variety of standards, programming tools and development platforms such as microservices architecture, and scalable enterprise-caliber solutions (HL7 FHIR experience is preferred but not required).
- Previous experience working within a health care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and cultivate strong partnerships with clients, technical teams and internal business partners from all disciplines with all levels of experience.
- Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details.
- Formal IT architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF) are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine software and system requirements.
- Creating high-level IT architecture specifications and design documents.
- Providing external customers and internal development teams with architectural blueprints to follow.
- Guiding and assisting staff internally and externally.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with design.
- Ensuring that you and the team adhere to development schedules and deadlines.
- Presenting regular progress reports and setting goals.
- Accountable for ensuring that all working hours are accurately reported on a daily or weekly basis.
