Description:

Role: Solutions Architect
Department: Delivery
Reporting to: CEO
Location: Toronto, Ontario (ideally) or Oklahoma City with a minimum 4-day hybrid ‘in office’ requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in business consulting, systems development and/or implementation.
  • Highly customer focused and strong desire to be in front of customers, listening and synthesizing requirements and evangelizing our Thentia products to help solve their challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically with high degree of reasoning to synthesize requirements from customers into functional and technical specifications.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a positive, solution oriented, optimistic, and gregarious personality to engage with prospective and current customers.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to quickly learn, so you can become an expert in our Thentia Cloud and adjacent products.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Ability to effectively document requirements and specifications.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and techniques.
  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, team environment.

OTHER DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES INCLUDE:

  • Subject Matter Expertise in professional or industry-based Regulation or related domains.
  • Experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • Demonstrated application of software implementation and change management practices.
  • Foundational knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles, Design Patterns and Techniques
  • Foundational knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies such as MySQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Solution Architects play a pivotal role in architecting the vision, strategy, and delivery of our platform, configured to meet our customers’ unique needs. Initially, you will jump into learning mode to understand all components of Thentia Cloud, our enterprise-grade platform. Over time, you will become a deep level subject matter expert to achieve Certified Thentia Solution Architect qualification. You are an insightful and critical thinker that listens and learns quickly, providing systems-thinking leadership to synthesize business needs into solutions to facilitate our customer’s digital transformation. Essential to your success is your ability to leverage your diverse experiences in consulting and business, working with a wide cross section of customers and industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and facilitate cross functional collaboration with customers and internal teams to understand their business and functional needs and then translate the requirements to system configuration specifications.
  • Guide customers in adopting best-practices for regulatory requirements focusing on optimizing performance and digitally transforming their operations and enabling strategic insights of their industry.
  • Provide architectural guidance to the project team as it relates to workflows, system interfacing, or other broader systems considerations.
  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to define the scope and objectives of software implementations.
  • Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to validate design concepts and feasibility of solutions.
  • Act as technical liaison between customers, delivery, and engineering teams, providing product improvement feedback to our Product & Engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with solution architectural design in the implementation of projects.
  • In collaboration with customers, Delivery, and Customer success, develop comprehensive implementation plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Participate in Quality Control Committee and quality assurance processes to ensure the delivered solutions meet the required standards of functionality, reliability, and usability.
  • Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution architecture
  • When necessary, play a hands-on role in gathering requirements, configuring, and deploying our platform, and supporting customer change management practices.
  • Remain current of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software architecture and implementation methodologies. Apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in our processes and solutions.
  • Up to 15% travel may be required.
