We are looking for a motivated and capable Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team in Milton Keynes, UK. You will be a driven, resourceful, and innovative person with a technical mind. You enjoy travelling to customer sites across EMEA to have a first-hand experience of our optical cable products, engage with customers and to experience different working cultures across the region.

Role

  • Act as primary technical expert for customer accounts within EMEA region, and coordinate with global sales and support functions as required
  • Coordinate, design technical product and application information to deliver both internal and external customers
  • Coordinate the set up and maintenance of samples specific to customers such that training, and demonstrations are viable
  • Ensure that technical support processes and key account knowledge are adequately documented and available to the EMEA Solutions Engineering team
  • Respond to routine, transactional product support requests in an effective, professional manner and within agreed timeframes
  • Create and lead cross-departmental projects to drive change in the organization

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working with optical fibre cable technologies
  • Experience of working in geographically distributed global teams
  • Knowledge of cabling and cable management products of DC and Colo sectors
  • Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI), Certified Data Centre Design Professional (CDCDP) or Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) are a plus

Travel
Travel to customer sites across EMEA up to 30% of the time
