  • Experience developing and delivering presentations both to executive-level and working-level audiences

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Blackbaud Pacific are looking for exceptional candidates to join our fast-paced, high-energy Solution Engineering team. Our Solution Engineers are responsible for presenting Blackbaud solutions in a compelling and valued-based approach to prospects and customers as a part of the sales process.
To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and sales skills, including the ability to discover business requirements, prescribe comprehensive solutions, and demonstrate the technology that will addresses these requirements. This Solutions Engineer will be supporting our customers and prospects across Asia Pacific.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Partner with Account Executives to provide customer-facing consultation in the support of direct sales pursuits of Blackbaud solutions
  • Maintain and improve in-depth technical understanding of at least one Blackbaud solution
  • Assist with sales pursuits for customers and prospects
  • Lead discovery and initial requirements gathering sessions with customers and prospects, translating key pain points into solution opportunities
  • Deliver solution demonstrations for customers based on key pain points uncovered in discovery including Blackbaud partner solutions
  • Prescribe packaged implementation or consulting offerings based on customer needs
  • Answer a variety of functional and technical questions from customers and prospects funnelled through the sales team
  • Provide functional and technical responses to customer RFPs, RFIs and other direct requirements
  • Work with Blackbaud partners to ensure strong alignment of partner solutions with market needs
  • Stay abreast of market trends and be able to to speak to best practice internally and externally

BLACKBAUD IS A ‘REMOTE FIRST’ ORGANISATION AND THIS ROLE WILL BE DELIVERED REMOTELY.

Working hours will be based on the Australian Eastern time zones (AEST and AEDT), however, public holidays will apply to your home location.
