Description:

Ekona Power is a Vancouver-based breakthrough energy technology company developing a novel methane pyrolysis platform for low-cost, clean hydrogen production. You will be comfortable working in a start-up environment, and have a positive, solution-oriented attitude, working out of our Calgary facility and collaborating with our team in the Burnaby home office.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will work alongside Ekona’s business development, strategic marketing and account management teams to help build the funnel of strategic customers and commercial partners, as well as deliver important technology development programs with funding partners and lead customers.

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Ekona’s Account Manager and other Business Development team members, as required, to promote our methane pyrolysis solution and build the customer funnel.
  • Specific duties include responding to customer inquiries, sharing technical information, gathering and consolidating market requirements, assisting in the delivery of presentations and supporting the development of technical proposals.
  • Assist with 3rd party analysis, utilizing available software tools and resources.
  • Collaborate with customers and commercial partners to conduct studies for evaluating Ekona’s methane pyrolysis solution within their application.
  • Work with the Product Development team to maintain process models for Ekona’s methane pyrolysis process, and build technical presentations that represent the company, technology and program delivery for external communications.
  • Maintain Ekona’s competitive analysis reporting, which compares our technology against competing clean hydrogen pathways and other methane pyrolysis technologies under development.
  • Support Ekona’s techno-economic analysis of its methane pyrolysis solution by evaluating levelized cost of hydrogen production and life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions and performing specific use-case studies for the technology in target market applications.
  • Support government funding initiatives by assisting with proposal development and technical reporting on program delivery.
  • Other relevant duties, as required.
