SambaNova is looking for an experienced pre-sales Solutions Engineer (a.k.a. Sales Engineer or Customer Engineer) who will partner with our Sales Executives to guide prospects through discovering and evaluating our solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive, hands-on experience in solution architecture, prototype development, and technical customer relationship management. Experience working with advanced AI/ML solutions as well as hardware and software technologies is highly preferred.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of customer-facing experience
• 2+ years of hands-on Python and PyTorch experience
• 1+ years of AI/ML model development, evaluation, and optimization experience
• Experience working with MLOps, API-driven integrations, solution design, system engineering, and architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML model development, evaluation, and optimization
• Basic Linux system administration and maintenance experience
• Experience working with enterprise customers in pre-sales motions

• A current or lapsed Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect certification from any provider
• Familiarity with server system deployment concerns/requirements in data centers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Building and maintaining technical relationships with prospective clients
• Becoming an expert in SambaNova Products and keeping up to date on industry trends in within the AI/ML space
• Translating business cases and requirements into appropriate technical solutions
• Owning technical discovery, qualification, and impact quantification
• Guiding prospective clients to understand the benefits and path to adoption of SambaNova Systems
• Developing and delivering compelling demos and technical presentations
• Designing, managing, and executing prototype/PoC development and driving prospective clients to a “technical win”
• Acting as the voice of the field to product and engineering teams
• Traveling to customer sites and trade shows as required
