WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Solution & Partnerships Manager will be a key role in supporting and driving the Primark Cares Product pillar. Ideally coming from a Product or Quality background, this person will be an effective communicator and collaborator, with the ability to take complex problems and drive simple but commercial solutions. They will work with multiple key stakeholders and functions across the business, building strong networks both internally & externally. As the Primark Cares team continues to evolve and grow, they will have the opportunity to establish key processes and standards within the business and the ability to react in a changing environment.

• To support on the publicly committed target ‘strengthening the durability of our clothing’.
• Work alongside and support the Product & Quality teams, to deliver the durability targets. Ensure consistency is maintained by championing the embedding of new processes across different Product areas.
• Work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to deliver proven solutions for durability
• Deliver on scaling up repair, both as a service as well as through education developing solutions for different markets.
• Build strong relationships internally and externally, and foster an environment of knowledge-sharing to enable more informed decision making
• Act as a key point of contact and expertise as part of the Primark Cares Product pillar, supporting the delivery of the wider Primark Cares strategy.
• Engage with key stakeholders within Primark Cares, the wider business and external stakeholders focusing on developing long lasting partnerships which will deliver commercial value to the programme.
• Assess commercial Product Pillar requirements and make recommendations to allow the team to deliver on these requirements.

• 5+ years of relevant, professional experience within either Product or Quality roles. Experience in a fast-paced, global retail environment preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen, with a clear understanding of the Product life cycle and how to drive innovation and new ways of working as part of this.
• Passion for sustainability and driven to effect change in the industry.
• Depth of knowledge of fashion retail and product knowledge an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and ability to learn and quickly and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong written, visual and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with stakeholders with different technical and cultural backgrounds.
• Works effectively with others to deliver common goals; readily offers support.
