IT services integrator, created in 1991, we position ourselves as IT comfort expert for the small and medium structures. To cover these services, we offer packaged based services and have a personalized service desk.
For larger organization, we are also active in the provision of IT staff and in projects both in operational and development field.
In addition, we also sell, deploy and install hardware (Servers, Storage, PC,…). We also offer technical consulting services.
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to contribute to a platform for modeling structured products, facilitating financial tasks, valuation, pricing, calculation, and cash-flow projections.
Role overview
As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a cutting-edge application. You’ll work with technologies such as ReactJS, Java, RESTful Web Services, Python, Anaconda, Azure DevOps, and PostgreSQL, ensuring the seamless operation of a financial platform.
Responsibilities
Provide 2nd level support
Serve as a single point of contact for users and other IT teams
Problem resolution, prioritization, and root cause analysis
Code investigation and documentation
Analyze complex problems and propose solutions
Estimate and implement fixes
Guide junior developers
Test and document solutions
Conduct business analysis as needed
Design, implement, and test solutions
Periodic clean-up and documentation
Manage branch operations (patching and merging)
Configure and use build environments
Coordinate with other IT teams
Document release processes
Conduct non-regression and pre-release testing
Document test results
Challenge existing processes for efficiency gains
Automate repetitive tasks
Document processes and provide training
Required skills
Software analysis, design, and testing
Web application development
Database programming using SQL
Financial Sector applications
Excellent command of English
Ability to deliver within tight deadlines
Project management skills
Key competencies
Strong Python experience (software development context, not just scripting)
Python Flask proficiency
PostgreSQL and SQL expertise (complex SQLs and optimization)
RESTful Web Services
CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Wallix, Azure DevOps, GitHub
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience in software development
Experience in the financial sector is a plus
