Description:
Are you a professional Sonographer with a commitment to first class patient care and the drive to work within a high performing team?
The Maternity Ultrasound and Gynaecology department provides all obstetric scans including combined screening, anomaly scans, growth scans and early pregnancy. Gynaecology scans are also provided to those women requiring routine gynaecoloy scans as well as urgent 2WW referrals
The successful candidate will have a professional and practical attitude to their work with strong imaging and reporting skills. They will be comfortable working under pressure, ‘multi-tasking’ and liaising with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential with current/recent NHS experience to work both autonomously and in a team environment
Need to CASE accredited - qualification essential
To be an effective member of the Ultrasound team, providing a high quality, comprehensive and efficient Ultrasound service to patients and referring clinicians; to include the timely issue of diagnostic reports, based on Ultrasound findings.
To undertake all aspects of work in the Ultrasound Department, as appropriate to grade, including the supervision and mentoring of more
junior staff
