SUMMARY

As a Sourcing Manager, you are primarily responsible for millions of euros worth of technical sourcing and negotiating supply agreements to ensure that the best value for the organization is being achieved.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Technical background and experience in Supply Chain Management and Sourcing & Procurement, from an industrial manufacturing company
• Higher education suitable for the task, either in a technical field (i.e., in Engineering B.Sc./M.Sc.) or in a commercial field (i.e., Bachelor / MA)
• Fluent English and advanced Finnish language skills, both spoken and written
• Experience in international business negotiations, excellent communication, and cross-functional team skills
• Self-driven, determined, and persistent way of working
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Although not necessary, it would be an advantage:

• Technical understanding of areas such as metal structures / welding, machining, and electrical engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sourcing strategy implementation, material productivity improvement
• Managing, coordinating, and executing sourcing projects
• Ensuring sufficient supplier capacity and supply chain improvements (areas: Metal Works, Machining, Control Cabinets)
• Negotiating supply agreements to ensure that the best value for the organisation is being achieved
• Cooperation and daily communication with external suppliers as well as internal stakeholders (Buyers, Supplier Quality, Project Teams, and Engineering)
