Responsibilities:

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Initiating Requests for quote (RFQs), execute Purchase Orders and perform procurement activities within project requirements, budget, schedule, and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage schedule changes and update ERP.
  • Negotiating Purchasing terms and conditions with Suppliers in line with the Company policy and project requirements
  • Acting as the focal point in interfacing with Suppliers/Internal Stakeholders on issues such as purchasing, expediting, invoicing, logistics, materials management, Invoice reconciliation and change order requests
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
  • Generating reports and analysis to support procurement activities and align with stakeholders on decision making proces

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelors in any field
  • Have minimum of 1 year of experience in Procurement/Buying/Contracts.
  • Have demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement across multiple disciplines internal and external
  • Be highly organized individual who is able to deliver results while working under pressure on multiple tasks within tight timeframes
  • Have an open mindset. Ability to influence others
  • Have exposure to resource and/or Oil & Gas projects desire
