Sourcing Team Lead / East / Global MNC (Supply Chain Solutions)

OUR CLIENT IS A GLOBAL MNC COMPANY IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN INDUSTRY. DUE TO THEIR CURRENT EXPANSION PLAN, THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A SOURCING TEAM LEAD TO JOIN THEIR SOURCING TEAM, IN HOPES OF DEVELOPING THE CURRENT HIGH PERFORMING TEAM. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE EAST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate comprehensive sourcing strategies for the company’s current/new categories with various regional stakeholders
• Work closely with various regional stakeholders to implement these strategies effectively
• Enhance quality, delivery, and cost efficiency to align and meet the company’s strategic objectives
• Develop/Execute strategies to enhance the company’s strategic sourcing proficiencies
• Conduct periodic assessments with key suppliers, engaging the relevant stakeholders
• Regularly assess the current supplier base, and identify potential suppliers to meet the company’s business needs
• Establish a framework for the company and the preferred suppliers to facilitate regional business expansion for specific categories
• Boost profit margins through strategic sourcing and promotion of the company’s branded products
• Lead and guide various company stakeholders, offering guidance to drive process enhancements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the adoption of new/improved processes
• Generate accurate reports to ensure timely information for the company’s management decisions
• Capture/Document the various stakeholders’ insights/feedback, and ensure that process enhancements are being developed to avert future losses
• Foster collaboration among team members to achieve productivity objectives

• Supervise a group of specialists, driving and meeting the company’s business objectivesAll other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Supply Chain Management or other relevant field of studies
• Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience in the relevant industries
• Possesses strong supervisory experience
