Responsibilities:
Kings Canyon Resort is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. In this role, you will support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by creating high-quality dishes that highlight local ingredients and flavors. You will be responsible for food preparation and presentation for a mix of indoor and outdoor dining options, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards of quality and taste.
This position is ideal for someone with extensive culinary experience who is looking to grow and advance their career.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Food preparation and cooking to order during service, for groups, and for outdoor dining
- Experience with pans, grills, and fryers
- Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
- Working effectively within a team environment
- Assisting in stock control and monitoring wastage
- Following a high standard of food safety and hygiene practices
- Liaising with suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
