Job Introduction
As a Sous Chef at Sodexo in Kiwi and Picton Barracks, Your culinary expertise and organizational excellence will lead an entire food and beverage production. Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead the kitchen in the absence of your senior colleagues & provide support for the production team
  • Direct the preparation/duties to the commis chefs, chef de parties and other kitchen staff.
  • Assisting/sharing in ordering, prep, stock control, to running service & clean down.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems
  • improvisation and maximise the use of existing stocks where necessary.
  • Working with the FOH team to drive the service excellence
  • Work on the range with the kitchen team to train, guide & develop
  • Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
  • Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard
