Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Receptionist provides guests with a warm, friendly and efficient impression of the Chi Spa and performs all the operational functions of the Spa Reception and Reservations Counter..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues and all other departments.
  • Ensure that all clients are handled in a professional and efficient standard of excellence.
  • To contribute to a high level of external and internal customer relations by displaying prompt and courteous service.
  • As assigned and at all opportunities, assists guest directly and indirectly in order to resolve problems and provide them a delightful staying experience in the hotel.
  • Provide accurate information about the facilities, services and special events available.
  • Respond to all telephone calls and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Initiate the taking and distribution of messages if the contacts are unavailable.
  • Monitor and respond to online booking requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Adheres to the provisions outlined in the Employee Handbook, Disciplinary Code and Rules and Regulations.
  • Adheres to the set procedures for attendance and timekeeping
  • To control and account for all transactions processed at the reception desk.
  • To monitor and control all retail stocks and report any supplies for re-order to storekeeper-in-charge on a regular basis.
  • Assist in any other tasks as specified by the Director of Spa and Wellness.
