Description:

The Hodson Bay Hotel is currently recruiting a Spa Therapist to join our great team within the Spa department.

As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for providing professional spa treatments and services to our guests, ensuring an exceptional and rejuvenating spa experience. Your expertise in various spa therapies and your dedication to customer satisfaction will contribute to the overall success of our spa facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of spa treatments, including massages, facials, body scrubs, and other specialized therapies, using various techniques and products.
  • Customize treatments based on guest preferences, health considerations, and specific requests.
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of service quality, adhering to established protocols and techniques.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with guests to assess their needs, preferences, and any relevant health considerations.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on suitable treatments and products to address specific concerns or desires.
  • Stay updated on the latest spa products, including skincare, body care, and wellness products.
  • Promote and recommend retail products to guests, ensuring an additional revenue stream for the spa department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring that all equipment, linens, and supplies are properly sanitized and prepared for each treatment.
  • Follow hygiene and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both therapists and guests.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation standards, including licensing requirements and industry best practices.
  • Stay informed about any updates or changes in regulations related to spa and wellness practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other spa therapists and team members to ensure a seamless and coordinated guest experience.
  • Support fellow therapists and provide assistance when needed.
  • Educate guests on the benefits of spa therapies, wellness practices, and self-care routines to enhance their overall well-being.
