Spatial Analyst

at  State Development Infrastructure Local Government and Planning

As a Senior Spatial Analyst you will: - Contribute to the development, maintenance and support of spatial infrastructure and associated spatial systems that deliver consistent high quality geospatial data to internal and external stakeholders.- Assist with the development and documentation of automated workflow improvements associated with spatial data management and the creation of spatial products for desktop and WebGIS.- Follow standards, policies and procedures in the capture, management, storage and presentation of departmental and government geospatial data.- Contribute to spatial engagement activities with project teams across the group as required.- Using ArcGIS Desktop and WebGIS software to undertake spatial analysis and create high-quality cartographic products on a project basis ensuring the requirements and timeframes of internal stakeholders are met.- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging GIS technologies and ability to provide management with recommendations on implementation or changes to activities and procedures.- Work independently and/or collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
