Description:

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Post-secondary education preferred, but combination of experience and education considered
  • 5 years of experience in roles such as administration, coordination, advisory, client servicing, account management, customer success, learning and development, education or similar relevant fields
  • Ability to establish strong rapport with C-Suite level partners through candid conversations
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of a CRM; preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual French/English a desired asset, but not required

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

TEC Canada is an Executive Coaching Company where our Chairs (Executive Coaches) facilitate monthly meetings for our membership of business leaders. Our Member Experience team oversees the support and growth of our Member and Speaker community, including onboarding, training, and development.
The Speaker Programs Advisor will provide support through our Thought Leadership department, which focuses on supporting and scheduling top-tier Thought Leaders into designated speaker sessions throughout the year. Advisors maintain and support a robust speaker talent roster from our global speaker community that aligns with the current business needs of our TEC members and Chairs.
The Advisors coordinate individualized program plans with Chairs across Canada, building on topics of interest from members. This individual will have the opportunity to facilitate bookings with hundreds of expert facilitators, work with Executive-level stakeholders, and shape the overall TEC Canada experiences for our members.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Build strong relationships with Executive Coaches (Chairs) to assess and select the best fit guest speakers that will engage and positively impact our TEC member groups
  • Manage the speaker booking process, which involves coordinating intricate scheduling, distributing meeting materials, and liaising with our travel agent to arrange accommodations and travel logistics for hundreds of speakers per year
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth speaker planning and execution process for our partners and members
  • Stay updated on internal speaker policies, including budget and expensing guidelines
  • Support in building individual group curriculum annually in coordination with Chairs
  • Leverage input from Chairs and Members to successfully guide and schedule speaker programs for TEC groups
  • Continuous improvement of scalable processes and systems to expand the TEC educational experience
  • Assist in the implementation of the speaker strategic plan and multi-year roadmap
  • Monitor travel expenses within a predetermined budgetOther responsibilities and projects as assigned
